Hey all, watzup?!
Things are pretty crazy out here. It was sunny and 60F on thurs then it decided to snow on fri! Mann!(with 2 n's!). Well, i got a new companion, Elder A., one of the 4 or 5 A's in our mission. He's an ex-AP. He's really good. This week, we've found 14 new investigators!!! WOW That's a Ton. And that's just since 2:00pm on wed!!!!! The Lord is really blessing us for our diligence and faith! I thought that y'all might want to know that we got attacked by more dogs. Though we didn't get bit. The Lord granted us that protection. Other than that...nothing too exiting has happened.

Hey Mom.
Week has been pretty good. Been tracting alot, but thats life as a missionary!
* Not much yet. He's still in AP mode. (I asked if new companion had
loosened up - (AP is assistant to the president)
* Wow. Cool. WV would have the largest fat kid population though,
wouldn't it? lol jk. (referring to a new food network show to
shape up America's fat kids)
* He would be a whiner! LOL, jk Scott! (I told Billy Scott had knee
surgery and didn't tolerate much pain even with the narcotics!)
* Sounds good! Wish I could be there, but my place is here. (recent
trip to Oak Harbor for Torri's 5th birthday party)
* What?!? Is he just going to start a whole new lawn?! (Mike has
dug up the entire front lawn and going to plant a new one)
* Heh, sounds awesome! That will be fun! HAHA The Man(n) store! LOL!
The branch pres. is a man...with 2 n's!!! (Mann) (The youth are
having a fund raiser with different stores - Deacons are having a
Man store)
* Sweet. Josh is already and Eagle?! Wow! Great! Bro. Bretschnider
is pretty cool. (told Billy about our latest Eagle Scout in Troop
318/Bro. Bretschneider is the Scoutmaster doing a great job)
* Heh...we had more snow last Fri.! Then we've had WA weather since
then. lol
* Oh Yea! I'm stoked for General Conference! We'll be watching it
from several members homes. (General Conference is Sat/Sun with 5
sessions for Billy)
* Not yet. (when asked if he had Easter dinner plans)
* I did get the package! Thanks so much! Everything looks awesome.
Those talks you sent will be helpful! (sent his Easter package and
had some printed talks from apostles in it)

Transfers - March 23, 2010
Hey mom! Sounds like things are good back there. Had another fun week. Very successful.
* Hehe...the bird got it. (Speaking of an event where he saw a
robin get attacked by a bigger bird)
* I spent 11 hrs supervising the bounce house for the kids. But
before that I helped to set up.(a fundraiser for a little girl
with brain cancer - raised $14,000)
* Cool! Man, he got his call early! (I told about David W.
reporting to the Mission Training Center)
* That's what we had last week. But since we had stake conference
this week, we should be on the same one next. (Old Testament
Studies)
* Cool, what did they talk on? Yea, I remember a David being a
friend of theirs. (Sacrament speakers I mentioned to Billy - his
old Young Men's Pres./wife/youth speaker)
* I bet he LOVES mowing! lol (on finding out his dad is mowing
the lawn!)
* Man, so many people geting sick, hurt, etc... My prayers are
getting really long. (Billy's cousin is facing some serious
health concerns)
* Hello, back! (Every week a member I take to church asks me to
say hello to Billy)
* Cool. I guess i forgot to tell you that this week was transfers.
I'm staying, but Elder W. is leaving. I'm getting one of the
assistants to the president(AP's). That should be fun...Elder
A., he's a really serious guy...I just hope that the members and
I can loosen him up a bit...
* Oh, yea! We have church from 9-12...and I'm not sure whose home we'll
call from. (Referring to Mother's Day when he will be able to
call home)
* yea, finally! Got some 60-70 degree weather! Then it got cold
today-37 degrees-ish.
* Ouch! /Sounds/ painful! Man.../everyone /is getting hurt! (His
cousin is having knee surgery)
I hope things continue to go well!

Six months - March 16, 2010
Hey all, hows it been going?!
Peterstown is pretty good. we have been getting into peoples homes like crazy! >v<
Everything is going well down here. we have been getting a lot of good potentials rolling in from the Book of Mormon loan program. so now we will be following up with all the ones we have out so far but at the same time we will still be needing to find time to loan.
* Elder W. is ok from the dog bite, the dog had all its shots.
* yea, i got the missionary backpack. its really good. had a time trying to figure out how to wear it though...lol.
* we only really serve people in the branch and that we meet. we did help out with a fundraiser for a family that has a little girl with several tumors in her brain. we were there for almost 11 hours! they raised upward of $14,000!!!
*we just covered joseph and the coat of many colors in our Sunday school lesson
* oh man! just what i need. one of the members made us an "ooiey gooy butter cake," guess what is in it?...6 STICKS OF BUTTER!!! i'm just under 300lb now! yay!
* yea, got it and i've already activated it. (New ATM card)

March 9, 2010 from Peterstown, WV
Hey All!!!
How have things been going? Things are great here in Wild, Wonderful, WV!!
We've been having lots of success in finding people. We have a goal this month of loaning 40 copies of the Book of Mormon to people here in P-town. That averages out to about 10 a week. Right now we are at 11/40. Please pray for us to achieve our goal! Because if we here in Peterstown can get 40 in a month, then it should be possible to do ANYWHERE!!(Zone morale boost)
This week, we had lots of fun. Yesterday especially! ok---we were on exchanges, Elder W. was with me and Elder W. was with Elder C. We went tracting(knocking doors) and at the last house on the road, we were walking up the driveway and suddenly this HUGE lab mix comes charging at us(Elder W. was in front) and rams him, then starts to try to bite him. He then pushes it away but gets bit in the process(not too bad, mind you). But then we RUN down the driveway and, fortunately, it doesn't follow us. But MAN was that scary. Thats the first time so far(1st time in 6 months, good average!). I'm just glad that i carry a first aid kit with me! I'm just sore from the running down(literally) the gravel driveway.
That street was good though, 3 loans and a lesson taught to a member referal! We then proceeded to go to another follow-up with a loan; we had a good lesson! Well, i think that that's enough excitement for ya'll for one week!
