Yep, poor ol' Elder M. is gettin' the boot! lol! He's exited and apprehensive about going home.

The weather is crazy still...Hot, mild, rainy, hot, etc...Me and Elder B. get to stay here for this transfer. Then in my district there are a few changes as well...Elder S. is leaving and we are gettign an Elder named Elder H., from what I've heard, he's really cool. Then we are also getting the Assistants in our district as well...that'll be fun. (Billy is the District Leader, so he is responsible for the new Elders coming in to the district - training/etc.)

* Heh, well, he should learn! It's fun and nessissary! (a friend in the Hospital has an adult son doesn't know how to cook)
* Cool, is it nice and clean? no more giant spots? (dad cleaned
the downstairs carpet)
* Hey Grandma! Love the postcards! I just got the ruins one,
really neat! Love ya! (Grandma is visiting from AZ)
* Yea, we saw them. (the W. Family investigators) I guess she
was looking at an old post about the shoes(my running ones). But
yea, i need new dress shoes, the rockports are terrible. They
are worn down to the nubs...on only one side! so it makes me
walk at a slant. left foot=/ right foot=\ Really uncomfortable.

* Sweet, i bet that was cool! (local scouts went on a kayak tour
around parts of Puget Sound)
* Ooooo...Luau! That sound really good! (I'm helping with a luau
at scout camp next week)
* Yea, that is one of my favorite OT stories. (Elijah and the
widow with cruise of oil and grain)
* Branch roster-300, Active-~30, youth-3(15,16,17), primary-2. (people in his branch/last Sunday he taught the youth and I was wondering ages, etc.)
* Oh, yea. We do LOTS of tracting still. DL does more work and
gets less benifits, than a ZL or AP. Tracting is what we do
mostly--loooooong hollers, with very few houses.

If you could look up on e-bay of something for me ties. There is a line of ties that are pretty cool that E. Mills has one of. It's by Jerry Garcia Estate LLC. (there are many collections). The Tie I really want is in Collection 47(it's called 'takin someone for a ride') it's blue and black, realy cool! Hopefully they are ceap on e-bay. If you do get one/some, could you mail them straitght here(IF you do)? The only other thing I can think of that I would like you to send is some jerkey!

Hey Mom!

Everything's going great! Had a good week. Still hot... Not to much happened this week.

• Yea, just up the hill on the right across from the jail. (dad asked if Billy's apartment was next to a waffle house)

• Heh, cool! FB is crazy! (I told Billy I connected with a grade school friend on facebook)

• Thank you A/C!!! (discussing heat in WA - had to use some a/c)

• We had a HC (High Council speaker) Sunday this week. We taught the kid's SS this week. (the missionaries taught Sunday School for the children in their branch)

• Cool! Is he going on a mission? (about a young man in our ward being sustained to the office of an Elder)

• Not surprised! That is the biggest trunky moment of my mission! (more mention of Lacey getting a General Authority - Apostle visit in August)

• Heh, the cats are like dogs, lol. If miss kitty was doing that, i'd be worried! (when Mike got home from being gone a week, two of the three cats followed him around like a puppy - whereas Miss Kitty, Billy's cat, is very independent)

• Being DL is going alright. Lots of work! (District Leader)

• Heh, he is but isn't exited to go home. (One of Billy's companions goes home the end of the month)

• We talked with P. again this week and he said to come over, but when we did, they weren't there. (some of their investigators)

• A couple. Not completely solid yet, but we are working on 'em. (new investigators)

• Thank you! I actually needed it today...i kinda ran out on my support card unknowingly. I'm gonna definitely keep track of it next month!!!!! Don't want that to happen again. Thank you for the seasoning! heh, thats funny that you put that in. lol. (told Billy I was putting some $$ on his account)

Alrighty, not much else! Just looking for Israel! (not sure what this means!)

Hey mom!

Things are going good. Hot and rainy this week. So nasty...ugh! HC (high council) Sun for us too.

• WHAAAT!?!?!?!!!!?!!?!?! Worst trunky moment of my mission...I would love to be there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(I told Billy that one of our Apostles - Dallin H. Oaks, is going to be visiting our conference next month)
  

• Wow, I'm glad we have a good A/C system in our appt. (Billy learned of the heatwave we had last week)
  

• D&C 121 is a favorite! (Scriptures regarding the Priesthood)
  

• Yea, we haven't been able to actually talk w/ them for a few weeks. We think that A. started to smoke again. (one of the families they have been working with)
  

• Yup! Still in the Tri! will be until the end of the month(when Elder Mills dies). Lots of fun. Always something crazy to do. (He's got two companions - a tripanionship - Elder M. mission is up the end of the month - they call that dying! when they go home)
  

• Yea, Pres. called me when he found out that I had a blog and asked me if I was updating it, but I told him it was you(that was a while ago). He said that that was not a permitted use of comp. privileges. Especially if it's not on p-day! (I told Billy of a new blog online from a sister missionary in WV and that she was posting in it often - which isn't allowed)
  

• TREK!!! YAY! (our stake is involved in a Pioneer Trek which goes on this week - Billy had gone 4 years ago - very tough but inspirational week being pioneers)
  

• Cool. I'm just about out of that 21 seasoning salute(from trader joes), i would love some of that, plz! (asked what he would like in his next care package - he never asks for much)

Thats about it...not to much going on at the moment.

Hey, Mom!

Every thing's going well here. It was crazy this week. The first part of the week, it was in the low 70's, then it started to get hot again. It's 11 o'clock am and 90 degrees! Not a big fan of the weather down here.

I was wondering if you could look for some stuff on e-bay, there's some stuff that would be great for the coming winter that Elder Mills suggested that I get---it's Under Armour. Specifically, 'base 2' pants and a hood (it is a multi use "hood." It turns into a neck warmer). I could get it here, but i don't know how much cheaper it would be on e-bay or if you just wanted to put money on my card (the hood is about $18, the pants are a bit more). (Billy knows I get good bargains for him on ebay)

• Yea, library was closed on Mon (didn't hear from Billy till Tuesday)

• Sounds like fun! I wish we still had cool weather. (I was cold during fireworks)

• I miss doing fireworks... (last year Billy helped set up city fireworks in Oak Harbor)

• Yea, i briefly met Elder Dahl at a transfer once. (newly returned missionary in Oak Harbor)

• Cool! I have his address, too! Speaking of addresses, could you send me Ben (Swenson's) address again, i lost it(mabey through dear elder). Thx! (friend on mission in Japan)

• I'm not sure what Auntie Rockie/Jim/Beth/Valerie would like... (Billy had sent souvenirs to Lilly and Auntie Moo and would like to know what others might like)
