Hey Mom and Dad!
Everythings going pretty well. Elder W. and I are getting along really well. He and I have the same interests, it's crazy! The area is doing well as well. Not too many people found this week, what with transfers and everything. But this week's looking pretty good.
(Billy sent home his camera memory card and I commented on it - including the squirrel skinning photos, bugs, snakes, etc.)
LOL, you didn't like the squirrel skinning? Too bad...Heh, That's one of my favorite pics! The snakes were probably all poison but they were all dead. The spiders too, and yes, I still kill them on sight (if they aren't on someone's house).
Actually, with my photos, I was wondering if dad could put all my pics on an 8G flash drive so that I can have them out here? They might even fit on a smaller drive...Then I can add to them at the library before I send the card next time.
Wow - talk about doing the time warp again. (friend coming home from mission in Japan - arrives this week and the day he comes home it works out that he arrives 35 minutes before he left Japan!) Sweet! Send me a pic of him! I want to see if he's changed.
The First Presidency Christmas Devotional was great!
Elder W. is just a transfer younger than I am. He's served in mostly wards but just finished serving in Oakland, MD.
Sounds good! I'm sure Elder J. will love the green tie you found on ebay like mine for him.
Next Tuesday is our Zone Christmas party. Thanks! I'll use the $$ you put in my account well!
I'm looking forward to the Christmas goodie package you sent me!!
Yea, it was a good teaching week last week!
Wow! No kidding!! He'll have to be a spiritual stud! (I told Billy that a Samoan baby had been blessed in our ward with the name Moroni Abinadi!)

Hey Dad and Mom!
Everything's going great! We've been super busy this week. So much stuff! It's also transfers this week (tomorrow). Elder C. is going to Lynchburg and I'm staying here. My new companion will be an Elder W. Don't know anything about him, so I can't fill you in on him.
Yea, I'm really glad that I had a chiropractor appointment after Thanksgiving. I was so sore!! I've been feeling really good lately, so it's going great. Had one visit last Monday and then the last one. Hopefully, that should be it.
Cool - alright! I'm looking forward to the Christmas CD. Heh, that's awesome the whole family gets the "Elder Mulks Christmas CD"! I'll not open the Christmas package until Christmas, I promise.
If anyone asks, tell them there is a Ross here (just found it!) It's the best place to buy ties and stuff!! $10 a piece!! A steal!! So cards for there would be a cool gift.
Ooooh, I've been eyeballing the new Tabernacle Choir 100 year celebration set in the deseret book catalog in our apartment - (I told Billy that Auntie Moo had bought it for him)
Look for ties when you go to the DI!
Ooohh, poor Elder C. will miss out on the goodies you made at Auntie Schell's!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Preparation day was changed to Thursday this week.

Things are great. Teachin' a few people. Transfers next week--looking forward to seeing what's gonna happen!
Yea, sorry, been busy and not been able to get to the post office. Will mail the camera chip asap.
We're eating with the A's. Really nice family. I'm looking forward to the goodies!!
WOW!!! We still haven't gotten any snow.
Wow. Yea, that's really awesome about dad feeling the message to get off the roof! The spirit speaks quietly, but if you're listening, you will end up on top. 'The lord blesses us when we listen He bless us us even more if we obey!' Pre. A.
Yea, I got the hoodie yesterday. Just in time for today and the turkey bowl! Freezing this morning!! It had perfect timing! There is actually an old navy here.
We have cd players in both the car and the appt. I would prefer the Christmas music on cd. I can always transfer it to my 'yoli' flashdrive at any time. If dad can put it in .mp34 format, that is the best. .wmv is next best.
Sure! Yea, that would be great to get the cd's you mentioned! If you could send it without the case (in a disposable case) that would be great!
I saw the Chiropractor on Tues. and I'm seeing him again tomorrow. I had them send the bill from Tues. to you. I can have them send the next one to you too then.

Those spices are awesome!!!! Thanks!!! We don't have a slow cooker, so I gave those spice packets to a family in the ward who would have more use for them.

14 Months Out!
Hey Mom and Dad!
I'm doing good. This week was pretty good. We got a few lessons and a few member presents. I did my first baptismal interview last Monday. That was an interesting experience! But fun!
Your info was the first about the chiropractor in Christiansburg. I'll be scheduling an appointment soon. I'll make arrangements for payments.
I haven't received your package yet. It's probably waiting for me at home right now! LOL Thanks! I sent a letter to you on Friday but you probably haven't gotten it yet either. Ooooo - Alkalete pills? Interesting! Tell Sister F. thanks! That will be so sweet! BTW ask if they have any new drinks close to being out yet for YOLI?

Elder C. is a couple of inches shorter than me. He's doing great, really loving being a missionary! (we call that "greenie fire") Yea, we are getting along great and we teach really well together.

Yea, time is flying by! I don't know where it's all going! LOL
Not much time to write today - sorry!
Yup - got the letter you sent last week!
Yea, it gets dark here at about 6:30.
WHAT!!!!!!!! My goodness! I'm looking forward to the conference issue! I hope someday the Temple issue of the Ensign will be available again.
I like the Bulk kind of YOLI. I use FUN, but TRUTH is my favorite YOLI drink. The bulk kind actually tastes better than it did in the caps, dunno why...
Lots of people trying to get us to deny our testimonies. The people in this area (non-members) really irk me. But, I'm striving to love them non-the-less. I love the members, and the shopping (xP).
I really don't remember going to a WinCo with you in WA. And, I haven't found the one you said was here, could you get an address?

November 1, 2010 - New Address Included!
Hey Mom,
Things are going well. This week has been better than last, thankfully! I'm starting to get the area now, it's really small compared to my last area! Just the city of Christiansburg.
Funny about you setting trick-or-treat candy outside - sounds like a plan.
Our church starts at 1 pm so we got out at 4 and had dinner at 6. By then it was dark and there were people out and about. It felt really weird tracting around people, so we just went into the main part of the city and street contacted.
Wow, cool that dad's new HT Companion served a mission - when you find out where, let me know.
Hey, Elder C. is crazy! But he's a hard worker too! He's just realizing that he'll never not be tired while he's out here! Lol!
Sorry - I thought I gave you the number of my apartment. It's #8. I was wondering why I haven't gotten anything! I thought that you would just send it to the mission office until you got the apartment number.

I've called the Chiropractor and he's looking into the ones in my area.
Well, that's about it! Not too much else happening. We do have ZC tomorrow, so that'll be sweet!
